Village Social, located at 251 East Main Street in Mount Kisco, was opened in July 2010 by Joe Bueti, who, according to the restaurant’s website, “had a clear vision for his home away from home - a perfect union of design, community, and lifestyle, all while serving up great food, drink, music and conversation.”
Mogan Anthony, Village Social’s Executive Chef, has international culinary expertise to push the boundaries of traditional American classics by adding a modern twist. Village Social’s seasonal menus incorporate fresh and local ingredients to offer dishes like seafood linguini, calamari, ramen, short rib grilled cheese and more.
As mentioned, the specialty at Village Social, which also has a location in Rye, is pizza. Each pie is crafted using flavorful ingredients like prosciutto, truffles, pepperoncini and heirloom tomato.
Side dish options include fresh vegetables like wood-fired carrots, grilled street corn and charred asparagus. The restaurant also features a bar fully stocked with the essential beer, wine and spirit options.
Approaching a full decade in business, Village Social has garnered significant praise on Yelp with a four-star rating. Guests enjoy everything from the restaurant’s service and atmosphere to food quality as a whole.
“Our go-to place. Have had quite a wide array of menu items and everything has always been high quality. Could order all of the appetizers every time! Slow-cooked skirt steak is one of our favorites on the menu and the salty-pretzel tuna is crunchy and flavorful,” writes Lauren L. in a June 26 Yelp review.
Village Social Kitchen & Bar is open for lunch and dinner seven days a week and offers Sunday brunch as well. For more information, visit the website.
